“Celiea.”
“I don’t think we’re on terms to address each other like that, Your Majesty.”
This was their first conversation.
After ending things with Leo, who had betrayed her and had an affair with Princess Blair, this was their first exchange in a year.
She didn’t care why he spoke to her. It didn’t matter what his reason was.
“Please leave.”
Even as she spat out those words, trembling at the thought of being in the same space as him, the man simply stared at her without any intention of leaving.
“If you don’t leave, Your Majesty, I will.”
Perhaps considering the last shred of goodwill she might have had, she intended to give a light farewell and leave, but he stopped her and finally spoke.
“I’m not finished talking yet.”
“Do we even have anything left to talk about?”
“Yes, I guess dragging this out is unpleasant for both of us.”
After finishing his sentence, Leo looked at Celiea with indifferent eyes and spoke again.
“Let me be straightforward. Marry me.”
It was a second proposal from the man who had abandoned her.
