Among the countless letters, invitations, love letters, and proposals circulating through the social circles of the Empire…….
There was not a single one that had not passed through Countess Lehinar’s ghostwriting office.
Then, to her, a request comes from the Büllo Dukedom, which is called a pillar of the Empire.
“Because I cannot work with love letters pouring in without end, I would like to hire you as the person to write the replies, Countess.”
The contract period was two months, the length of time Duke Büllo would be searching for a fiancée.
But this man does not seem to have any intention of finding one.
“Countess Lehinar, the weather is quite lovely.”
“Countess, now that the work is done, would you care to go for a walk?”
And so two months pass, and around the time the contract is nearing its end, Duke Büllo calls for Countess Lehinar.
“Countess, would you care to make a contract with me?”
“Are we not already bound by a contract even now?”
“I mean a different contract from that.”
A fake engagement to avoid love letters, and an old secret passed down in the Büllo Dukedom.
Perhaps the key to every story may be Countess Lehinar.
