I fell asleep while reading a novel, only to wake up as one of the characters in the book.
Of all people, I became Karin Wendis, the villainess who stands between the male lead Luke and the female lead Alicia!
‘What do I do now? And I didn’t even finish the book! I fell asleep before getting to the end!’
In the last part I read, Karin, the original owner of the body I possessed, was plotting to kill the heroine by locking her up and setting the place on fire.
‘No way, I won’t do it. I absolutely won’t!’
Fine, I’ll just make sure the male and female leads get together, stay out of trouble, and avoid being a villainess altogether!
Karin thought that if she did this, everything would work out.

After the attendants left, the door clicked shut. Luke, who had been staring at the door, slowly turned his gaze toward Karin. Her body flinched instinctively.
‘This… wasn’t supposed to happen. How did things end up like this?’
Something was wrong. By now, the male and female leads should have been happily together, and she should have been out of the picture. Instead, she found herself spending her first night with the male lead. Karin froze in place.
Luke’s lips curled into a faint smile.
“Why are you so tense?”
“…I don’t know about you, Your Grace, but this is my first time.”
“It’s not ‘Your Grace’ anymore, but ‘honey’ or ‘darling,’ isn’t it? Aren’t I your husband now?”
Luke stepped closer to Karin as he spoke.
“Relax.”
His lips curled into a smirk.
