I couldn’t go out for a while, just like Father said. Midway through, unable to bear the boredom, I tried sneaking out but got caught, adding another day to my house arrest. Only after completing the full six days could I finally step outside.
If there was any silver lining, it was that Thadeus hadn’t made any moves yet. He hadn’t contacted me or come to our house at all. I felt relieved, but also puzzled on the other hand.
‘Was what he said back then just empty words?’
While at home, occasionally the heated *ntercourse with him would come to mind. But that didn’t mean I wanted it. The memory of that moment was just so intense and stimulating it wouldn’t leave my head.
Anyway, Thadeus not contacting me was actually good for me. This meant I could spend the remaining time finding a way to convey my true feelings to Schwein without worrying about Thadeus.
“So what should I do first?”
It was my first outing in a while and I didn’t want to waste time. Since my grand plan to transform into a flying squirrel and appear before Schwein had failed miserably anyway, I needed to devise another method.
‘Maybe I should try a honey trap this time?’
I knew my looks weren’t exceptionally outstanding. However, just when I’d forget about it, men’s courtship would continue and there were occasionally those who showed interest in me.
‘If there’s one puzzling thing…’
Anyone who confessed to me would disappear without a trace or return seriously injured. Then when they ran into me, they’d be horrified like they’d seen a ghost and vanish. So I’d seriously wondered if some terrible evil spirit was attached to me.
“Surely Schwein won’t die just because I confessed…?”
If I was born with the miserable fate of living lonely my whole life without ever experiencing love, that would truly be unfair.
Even if that were true, I had no intention of giving up easily. I’d pioneer my fate using every method available to me. If necessary, I’d even throw a tantrum meeting that bastard called God.
Thinking that way made me feel much more at ease. Doing nothing and just staying still really didn’t suit my temperament. If I dressed up differently than before, I’d surely discover at least one thing that was Schwein’s taste.
“Rachel.”
“Yes, Miss.”
“Let’s go to Madame Partrana’s Long Salode clothing shop.”
“I’ll start preparing for the outing right away.”
Every time I came to Long Salode, I was amazed by the luxurious decorations at the entrance. This place changed the building’s “clothes” with each season, claiming to provide differentiated service from other places.
On this fresh day with spring breezes gently blowing, pale pink petals covered the building. And they’d decorated the courtyard by weaving precious jewels into flower shapes. Every time I turned my gaze, the jewels reflected in the sunlight sparkled brilliantly.
When I entered, staff who’d received advance notice rushed over to greet me. Their movements were neat without a single flaw.
“Welcome, Miss Clea Blanchet.”
When I nodded, they guided me inside. Other noble ladies must have also come to look at clothes, as they were walking around with maids trailing behind them. Among them, one lady who made eye contact with me turned her head sharply away like she was displeased.
‘Really. How absurd.’
They’d never liked me. They were always badmouthing me, saying I dragged noble dignity to the floor by associating freely with commoner Luina.
That my conduct was unbecoming of a noble lady. They’d bring up reasons like not being a proper example to those below. I likewise found them pathetic for being bound only by class and unable to see people’s essence.
“It’s not like they’ll live my life for me.”
At my muttering, Rachel beside me answered.
“What did you say, Miss?”
“Nothing. Just thinking how consistent they are.”
I was examining the new dresses displayed in the shop when I saw a familiar-looking man’s back in the distance. That person with a large build and violet hair felt like Thadeus no matter how I looked. One puzzling thing was that he was walking arm-in-arm with some blonde lady.
‘What? Who’s that woman?’
My mind went completely blank. My heart pounded and blood rushed to my face, making it feel hot. Just as I was making triangular eyes trying to confirm what woman it was, he turned around and our eyes met.
Surprisingly, the man wasn’t Thadeus. He was a complete stranger. Looking at any of his features—eyes, nose, mouth—I couldn’t find a single resemblance.
If I had to compare, Thadeus was like a finely sculpted artwork while that man had a face like a rock roughly smashed together with toes. In that moment, my strangely agitated heart calmed peacefully.
‘Why am I acting like this?’
Even I didn’t understand my change of heart. What did it matter to me whether a vicious bastard like Thadeus met other women or not? But just moments ago, something like a sense of betrayal had surged up. Could this be what they call being physically attached?
“Miss?”
Rachel called out to me, lost in thought. She seemed puzzled by how I’d stopped blankly while looking around fine. I reassured Rachel it was nothing and continued browsing the shop.
“I’d like to try this on.”
I’d just found an outfit I liked and told the staff I wanted to try it on. While waiting briefly, my stomach suddenly hurt. Cold sweat flowed down from the explosive pain I couldn’t endure.
“Just a moment!”
I declined the maids who tried to follow and rushed to the bathroom. Just as I closed the bathroom door and tried to relieve myself, I felt nauseous like I’d vomit any moment.
“Urgh…!”
It was a different sensation than usual. Heat rose through my whole body, then I felt dizzy like the world was spinning. Not long after, with a pop sound, the world flashed white. When I blinked once, something large was covering my entire body.
“Wh-what?”
It wasn’t that heavy and felt quite soft to the touch. After squirming my body to escape and looking back, the clothes I’d been wearing were sprawled on the floor.
What was all this? Why had the world grown large again, leaving me out? This situation was exactly like when I’d transformed into a flying squirrel. Thinking ‘surely not,’ I checked my body and saw cloud-like fluffy white fur and a cute little body.
“I’ve… become a flying squirrel again?”
I’d thought the magic ended after meeting Thadeus that day, but apparently not. I should go find Luina right away, but getting from here to the magic shop where she worked would take quite a while by carriage.
If my body heated up like I was in heat again like last time along the way, I had no confidence I could hide it. Rather than showing such disgrace to the servants, it might be better to bite my tongue and die.
“What do I do? What should I do now?”
While pacing the floor, worried someone else might enter the bathroom, I dragged the clothes sprawled on the floor with effort to the hidden inner area.
If my prediction was correct, I’d transform back into a human before long. And that nightmarish sensation would dominate my entire body.
‘If only Thadeus were by my side at a time like this…’
I was shocked at the thought that naturally arose. What was I thinking right now? How could I think of Thadeus of all people?
But unfortunately, I wasn’t given more time to worry. Like before, my lower body boiled like I was in heat. After writhing and rolling on the floor from the heat, I returned to human form. Even without doing anything, m*ans burst out from the feverish heat.
“Mmnh…!”
If I was discovered by someone else like this, it would be the family’s shame. But I also didn’t want to roll around in an orgy with men I didn’t even know in this boiling pleasure.
The best I could do now was give myself greater stimulation to forget the stimulus tormenting my body. I bit down hard on my tongue with my teeth. As the fishy taste of blood seeped to my tongue tip, my fading consciousness seemed to return just a little.
I slowly put on the clothes sprawled on the floor. With lace and strings wrapped all around, putting them on was quite difficult. Whenever the hem accidentally touched my n*pples, I had to pant from the pleasure crushing my whole body.
“Hngh…”
After enduring that time of patience for a while, wet fl*id flowed down from my lower body again.
I leaned against the wall from the surging pleasure, then repeated putting on clothes several times. When I finally finished dressing, my whole body was drenched in cold sweat.
Opening the bathroom door and stepping one foot outside, the area between my legs tingled. I bit my lips tightly and held back the m*ans trying to burst out. When I came out, Rachel, worried about me, came running.
“Miss Clea! I was worried something might have happened. But oh my… look at this cold sweat. Are you feeling unwell somewhere?”
I didn’t have the presence of mind to answer the barrage of questions one by one. I barely moved my lips that wouldn’t open and answered in a faint voice like it would go out any moment.
“Right now… I want to leave… Outside.”
When I staggered while walking, Rachel beside me grabbed my arm.
“Miss!”
But even at that small stimulus, my thighs trembled. Fortunately, I’d worn thick underpants so the dripping water wasn’t visible, but I didn’t know how long even that would last.
The path to the carriage—each moment was hell for me. Once when taking a step, and once more when boarding the carriage, I tasted extreme cl*max.
I wanted to give up everything right away and surrender to this pleasure tormenting me. But the last handful of reason remaining pleaded with me not to.
“Miss, shall we return to the estate?”
“…No, to the Chervandia Duke’s Estate for now.”
I didn’t know why I chose him. I just thought Thadeus could soothe this hot fever. Because my body hadn’t forgotten and remembered the rough hands that gripped my chest and the massive thing that dug into my lower body.
“But, going without contacting them first…”
Rachel said with a worried expression. But now wasn’t the time to worry about such things.
“Leave… right now.”
“Yes, understood.”
Less than 10 minutes had passed since boarding the carriage, but it felt like more than half a day had gone by. Every time the carriage jolted, I went between heaven and hell simultaneously.
As I curled up trembling, Rachel wiped my cold sweat with a worried voice.
“Miss…”
Fortunately, the knights guarding the estate checked the Blanchet Count family’s seal and let the carriage through. When we finally arrived in front of the Duke’s estate, it was hard to maintain my sanity any longer. The m*ans I’d been suppressing burst out between my teeth.
“Nngh… Rachel, quickly… Thadeus…!”
“Yes, Miss. I’ll go tell him right away!”
When Rachel who’d been with me left, I couldn’t hold back anymore and collapsed onto the carriage floor. Just sitting until now had required tremendous patience. When I lifted my head to check where I’d been sitting, water sloshed around like pooled rainwater.
“Hnngh, ngh…!”
Inside my body, hot flames blazed fiercely. They grew uncontrollably large, seemingly ready to burn me entirely and still not stop. As I writhed from the unquenched thirst and pain enveloping my whole body, I heard urgent footsteps.
I couldn’t tell if the approaching person was Rachel or Thadeus. If it was Rachel, she’d notice my body’s abnormal symptoms, and if it was Thadeus, well, I couldn’t guess. Maybe he’d mock me for being in such a pathetic state.
The carriage door opened and I made eye contact with a surprised-looking Thadeus. I nearly shed tears of relief. Fortunately, I couldn’t see Rachel or anyone else right behind him. Thadeus let out a deep sigh, then climbed into the carriage and closed the door.
“Don’t tell me you came all the way here in this state?”
