This was one of the most frustrating short stories I’ve read on this site. I wanted to slap the guy first, then both of them. Later, I wanted to slap that reader who called this story cute.
And here’s some advice: sometimes, if things are going sh!tty, don’t just say “it’s a short story anyway” and end it. Because it is a short story. If it continues sh!tty, it will end sh!tty.
