“Don’t married couples sleep in the same room?”
She blinked slowly.
She knew what he was talking about. The memory of what she had done when she was drunk that day came back to her belatedly. But she couldn’t pretend to know. The mere fact that she had taken off her clothes, including her underwear, and climbed onto his body made her want to bite her tongue.
Yeon-woo brazenly lifted her chin.
“Are you saying I said something like that?”
She decided to feign ignorance until the end.
“Don’t pretend you don’t know.”
She froze.
Her heart dropped.
Did he know something?
“Of course married couples sleep together.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
Not wanting to lose, she clenched her fist and acted confidently.
It happened in an instant.
As he lowered his head, the distance between them suddenly closed. His face was right in front of hers. She could hide her expression, but she could not hide the trembling in her eyes.
Seeing her wildly shaking eyes, he lifted one corner of his lips lazily. Even at a moment like this, he was handsome. His arrogant-looking face revealed nothing about what he was thinking, which only increased her unease.
She hesitantly stepped back, but her shoulder was seized.
Yeon-woo held her breath.
“When married couples sleep together, do you mean sleeping? Or something else?”
